Education

Education has been a major focus for the APA from the very beginning.
  • As a result of our collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders and educational experts, we have finalised in the beginning of 2008 a curriculum for Ayurvedic practitioners in the UK, which has been peer-reviewed and accepted by the Indian and Sri Lankan Government departments for Ayurveda.

  • A key aim of the APA has been to create and maintain a vibrant culture of further professional education and self-development for practitioners and therapists.

  • The APA  devotes a great part of its public activities to organising regular CPD events with internationally renowned lecturers, including Dr. Vasant Lad, Dr. Robert Svoboda, Dr. David Frawley and many other outstanding Ayurvedic authorities. CPD will remain one of the APA’s priorities also after implemention of statutory regulation, since it is vital for maintaining the authenticity of Ayurvedic practice of in this country.
